Greetings everyone!
My name is Nikola and I'm 24 years old Geodesy student. I currently live in Zagreb, but my birth town is Split which is one of the most beautiful cities on the coast of Croatia.

I'm positive, communicative, honest, curious and resourceful young man who is always trying to explore new places, meet new people and expand my horizons!

I don't drink alcohol, don't smoke, nor I use drugs! Trying to live my life without those bad habits!

I've been scout since 2005. I'm still volunteering and working with (educating) people different ages! This is one of the reasons why I'm a bit childish but I'm proud to be scout!

Music is one of my greatest passions. I adore acapela singing and I'm currently singing in klapa (Klapa singing is a traditional Croatian form of vocal music originating from Dalmatia, in southern Croatia. In December 2012, UNESCO inscribed klapa singing on its list of world intangible heritage of Europe). Always ready to learn how to play new instruments, I was playing mandolin and bit of guitar when I was younger but didn't play it in a long time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet new people, learn about their culture, hang out and have fun! Also I want to travel and see interesting and beautiful places!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted some people from other parts of Europe, not thru CS connections, but every experience counts!
Also I traveled with friends a lot of times before.
I met with few people from CS community and had fun showing them around! So far, none of them complained. ;)

Interests

Apart from scouts and music I enjoy watching a good movie/tv show or spend my time talking with my friends and family.
I love nature and hikes! I just love exploring new places! :D
Also I like to play sports like football (soccer) and basketball. I don't like watching sports alone, only with my friends because nowadays everything in sports is about money and not about fun!
I'm also huge MMA fan and I trained Judo for few years, but no need to worry, I wouldn't hurt a fly! Nowdays I just go to the gym and trying to stay healthy!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climb 2006 meters high mountain.
Had close interaction with wild bear in the woods.
I didn't speak nor eat for 24 hours in a row, manage to survive in the woods alone with shelter that I made for myself.
Educate and lead the children to become better people! It's one thing I'm really proud of!
