Hi! I'm Olga. I grew up in Russia, in a small town on the border with China, which I love very much. But because it's so small I loved to go out and travel and see the world outside. I love meeting new people and learning from them, I think it's the best way to learn and open your mind and crush all the theories stuck in your head. I love to listen to people's stories and being inspired by them and their ideas. Getting to know new people is like discovering the world, but an inside world, you know...

I think learning and discovering is what make us alive.

I love new technologies, art, dancing, music, especially acoustic and piano melodies and reading.

In the beginning, I always feel a bit shy and quiet, as feel more like an introvert, but I'm trying to get out from my comfort zone and being more and more open. But I'm a good listener and if you're an open-minded talkative person we'll have a great time together! :) If you are calm and introvert like me, we will still have nice and relaxed time together :)

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I think that is community is a great idea, with it's own spirit which open the doors for different cultures and helps different people connect together. I love to learn i bit more about different cultures and always being inspired by the people stories. The idea of staying with each other is really nice, it makes you feel like you not just a tourist, but a guest. I will try to be a good guest and hopefully, I can become a host when I'll find my own place to live. :)

I like diverse music, almost everyting (except maybe heavy metall), for example country music, indie, folk, pop, latin, classical, alternative rock.
There are so many different books and movies I love, so it's hard to pick any particular. They are too different and non comparable. I like books and movies which make you think differently, from the new perspective, open something for you or just relax.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Being afraid of height jumped with a parachute alone, have done bungee-jumping and finally paragliding (it doesn't help to get over the fear though).
Hiking to the top of the volcano in Indonesia and seeing the sunrise over the clouds.
Have seen rice plantations and tea plantations, which was one of my dreams.
Went with my friends from different countries to an amazing trip in Dolomites in Italy.
Met wonderful people in my life.
