I am taking a year off of work and the regular grind to purely focus on my health and fitness. I have a severe thyroid issue that has caused my metabolism to operate very poorly, and i am very fat because of it.

During this year off I am maintaining a balanced and consistent diet and pairing it with my favorite form of excercise, biking!

I decided with this year off I would also like to pop around the country and bike in various cities.. Looking to explore the city via bike, get familiar with the neighborhood, the local planet fitness, and all swimming opportunities, etc. My friends are mostly letting my crash but i am hoping to use couch surfing to fill in the gaps.I have faith in this community, it has been good to me in the past and i believe if you put the right energy out there it will find its way back to you.

I worked MANY hours in order to save up for this time to focus my health, but still during this year of prioritizing my health I am on a fixed income.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to explore the world through venues, and I want to build relationships with as many people as possible and see what a slice of their life looks like.

I dedicate this journey to my friend Dongli Zhang, who i met at a music festival and we were supposed to travel the USA together to follow the band Radiohead. The world lost her to a rare form of cancer, but she will always live on in my heart, and be there in spirit when i travel.
