I'm Priyabrata, basically from Bhubaneswar (Odisha). I enjoy travelling, meeting new people, and exploring local cuisine. I have completed a high altitude trek and looking for more. Last year, I backpacked in five European countries and discovered that I can't live without travelling. Currently, I am working as a mechanical engineering in R&D team of Royal Enfield.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is one of the most beautiful systems in recent days. In this digital world, we're losing human values and much-needed interaction. While this provides a platform to interact with hosts, know the local culture. Though I have joined way back in 2016, I have never used CS platform to host anyone, as I was living hostel. Currently, I am living in Sholinganallur and I have my own single room in 3 bhk apartment which I am sharing with friends. You are welcome to come and stay.

Couchsurfing for me is like knowing like-minded people. Getting to know their culture, cuisine and so on.
In short, I can explain, it's like 'A home away from home'

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I saw the first glance of Himalaya, despite of all odds at 15,350 ft. That moment is unforgettable. The whole trek was 70km long :)

Teach, Learn, Share

Apart from academic, I can teach some Indian cooking style and some awesome dishes.

I want to learn other languages, and specially interested in discussing about various countries. :) Or you can teach me piano, if you wish! :P
