Hey ladies and gents! Je m'appelle Rachel. :) I'm currently studying to be a physical therapist. I am brand new to CS, and this is my first time traveling out of the United States. I want to make traveling and adventure my life! Making a difference for the betterment of the world is a "must" ambition for me. A huge bucket list item of mine is to go dig wells in places that don't have access to clean drinking water. I hope that I always have the means to be able to support well-digging in these communities. I have a passion for adventure, the outdoors, soccer, music, theater and dance! While I have my beliefs, an open mind is important to me, and that is one of the reasons I choose to travel. I'm friendly, a good listener/conversationalist, respectful of other's belongings and space, and I have an unquenching thirst for new knowledge. I hope I have the pleasure of meeting you!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Most of my family is originally from France. I have one last relative that lives in Tours, France. She is elderly. I want to meet her while I still can. She's gotten quite depressed in the last few months, so I'm not positive she'll let me stay with her while I'm in Tours. I figured I would try to make the best out it and meet some cool people/learn more new things/make connections along the way, if possible!

Oh! One more thing-- I took a 21 day white water rafting adventure down the Grand Canyon!!!! :D Talk about exhilarating! If you haven't gone, it's a must that you try it! ***I suggest using AZRA as your guide! :D ***

Teach, Learn, Share

Hmmm, I know some east coast swing dancing, I've brought my flute-- so if you don't already know it, and you're interested in learning that, I can teach you haha. If you want, I'll think of other things I might know to teach you! I LOVE learning new things-- anything I can, so I'm so excited to meet all of you amazing fellow adventurers! I'm sure you have so much knowledge, and I'm stoked!
I'm usually down for trying most new things, and I try to keep an open-mind. I'm ALWAYS down for a dance class of any kind haha. I like to play with fire (but of course not in your house lol). I love playing soccer, but I'm admittedly pretty bad at the footwork-- I'll try to catch up!

Errrm, If I have food and you want some... I promise I will share it. :p I wish I could say I'm a better cook, but shamefully, I am pretty bad at it-- but I will try for you! I worked at a café for a summer though, so I can make you a mean specialty salad or sandwich! Haha
