About Me

Hello!

Well I'm doing it! I'm backpacking Europe solo because I'm graduating university and I'm looking for a final hoo-rah before "adult" life smacks me in the face!
(I know, how original of me...)

I'm 23 with a film degree and I'm sad to say I've never been to Europe or anywhere over 3 hours away (via plane) from Florida. I'm eager for some adventure and life experience!

It's always awkward to write about yourself. I want to avoid sounding fake and cliche, but I'm sorry if I fail... A few things about me:

-I'm an identical twin. As much as we hate getting mixed up, we are super alike beyond just our faces. We both are extremely passionate about comedy and improv. I'll take all the questions and twin jokes you got!

-After traveling, I’m planning on taking the leap and moving to LA to meet up with my twin and tackle the cruel, yet exciting world of comedy. We are both aware and excited for the challenging, long road ahead.

-I've made made 4 films (among other smaller projects) at school that I'm decently proud of. (WARNING: the content could be considered offensive but not intended for that at all!) My youtube page: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCTYaVFi45zasVDTeV4yXzXg

-As per request, I can be one of two things (or a solid balance of both):
1) a respectful super social, talkative, party animal
2) a respectful quiet, calm, cool, and collected something animal

-I love to dance.

I love people and making connections. My favorite memories of all time are the late night with close friends talking about an array of fun dumb topics (farts) to mature topics (religion, politics, relationships).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

During my travels, I'm looking for authentic experiences of the culture of each country I'm going to. I’m staying in hostels as well as with friends, but I think Couchsurfing will give me an experience that the other two cannot provide. I want to make connections, learn and hopefully pass along knowledge and great experiences to my host(s).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent last summer studying improv in Chicago at the famous iO theatre.
There I learned more about the craft and met people from all around the world that share the same passion as I do.

It's the people I met there that somewhat inspired me to make this trip. They were willing to go out of their comfort zone to pursue their passion and now I want to do the same.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can (attempt to) teach you improv including the different forms and history.

If you don't already know about it, I'd love to show you Geocaching! (it's as fun as it is to say the word)

I'd love to share thoughts and opinions on life, entertainment, food, and beyond.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm obsessed with making people laugh. Although I cannot guarantee tearjerking, stomach crunching laughter, I'll definitely try (if welcomed).

I'm not just a goofball, I'd like to believe I'm someone with unique insights and outlooks on life and I'm always willing to share those (if welcomed).

I make a mean omelet .
