ABOUT ME

I am an outgoing young lady, who enjoys meeting new people and experiencing new things! I love love love to travel and have previously lived in Prague while doing a study abroad and I loved it. I was living in London earlier this year, but then had to move, which landed me in the Canary Islands teaching english to a fun family, after that I moved back to the states and now I live in North Carolina doing Graphic Design!I love photography and making stuff!!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to host people once I have settled down myself, but for now I want to meet new people and share cultures by surfing!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed once in Paris with my friend Morgan and it was so much fun, got to see a different part of the city we wouldn't have been able to see otherwise! I have also hung out with a couchsurfer in NY, I didn't stay with him because I already had a hotel booked, but we ate dinner together and had drink on the top of his apartment in NYC!

I love to travel and meet new people! I also have a love for photography, Graphic Design, and typography! I enjoy running, cooking, and swimming as well.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love love love movies, and love good tv shows even more. Favorite Movie of all time is Pulp Fiction, I love Quentin Tarantino, I saw him once in London for the premier of Django Unchained and I freaked out with excitement!! My favorite shows include, the Walking Dead, Game of thrones, Curb your enthusiasm, Entourage, True Blood, Mad Men, Breaking Bad, just to name a few!

I like to read although I am quite slow, one of my favoutie authors is Christopher Moore, his books are so random and funny, I love them!

I like a lot of different music, but I hate labeling it into genres, is that just me? I don't really enjoy country music though. Some of favourite bands right now are Arctic Monkeys, Haim, The Kooks, Modest Mouse, the XX, Metric, and those are just a few and they are in no particular order! :D

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Going to the Bone Church in Kutna Hora near Prague was amazing, its ossuary filled with the bones of over 40,000 people decorated into chandeliers and coats of armor!!

I've seen the changing of the guards at Buckingham Palace within the palace gates, which only visiting dignitaries and Girl Scouts/Girl Guides are allowed to do!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love learning about new cultures and customs, the more foreign to me the better! I am currently teaching English to a spanish speaking family, and I also love to teach about photography and photojournalism!!
