Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I was living in Busan, Korea with my girlfriend and we had an extra flat in a cool area. We thought it would be fun to meet some new people, so we let couch surfers stay there. After our teaching contract in Korea was finished, we were lucky enough to Couchsurf all over Europe. During our 3 month trip we spend about 1/3 of it couchsurfing. The best experience of our life! (to date)
We are a little more settled now, but still love to travel. We probably won't couchsurf too much any more, leaning more towards Airbnb and stuff, but if a friend or a friend comes to town, or an interesting request comes in at a convenient time, we may consider hosting!
Also down to meet up for concerts or something!
Interests
Music, Guitar, food, writing, reading, experiencing.
Specifically in Korea I enjoy hiking, going to the beach, trying to find good live music and having drinks with friends and strangers alike.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music:
State Radio, Chadwick Stokes, Dave Matthews Band, Of Monsters and Men, The Beatles, Bon Iver (Justin Vernon), Eddie Vedder, The Kooks, Tycho, Iron & Wine
Books:
Ender's Game, Game of Thrones, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Slaughterhouse-Five
I love movies too.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Volunteered restoring trails in Merck Forest, Vermont for a month in 10th grade. I had never been camping before, but I slept in a tent for one month against my will (mom made me do it!) and loved EVERY minute of it.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can play the guitar a little bit and love to jam with people, or at least show them what I know! I'm also interested in talking to people about music, movies, books, the way governments are set up, and computer science. I think I learned a lot about American culture by living outside of the States, so maybe you can teach me some more.
