About Me
I am a qualified Commercial Pilot. Undergrad from VIT University, Vellore. In 2014 I went on to pursue my dream and commenced my Pilot training from Christchurch, New Zealand finished my PPL there. Then Moved on to Matamata (Known as the Hobbiton Village (Where the movie Lord of Rings and Hobbit were shot) I have lived in both North ans South Island for a year and a half and explored New Zealand to my capabilities. At the moment I live in Chennai where I am partly involved in my family business and also doing my certification in Sports nutrition from NASM. Planning to Get back to my flying career in the coming months and also travel as much as possible and live life king size.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
In my Recent travels I started meeting new people and travel with them. It has given me immense joy and also helped me over come my anxiety with meeting new people. Also it has given me a sense of spontaneity and adventure along the way. In my opinion meeting new people and trying new food and learning the local culture is what travel is all about. For someone who is shy to meet a new person and build conversations there is no better way to start it other than here in Couch surfing. Here we first make a connection via message share and get to know them and then we meet. So it makes it easier for me to get along with new people.
Interests
I am a sucker for long road trips because I like to drive. My recent one was from Chennai to Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh (Indo- China Border) in my Tata Harrier which was for 19 days and we covered 7 states (9,000+ Kilometres). My next dream under construction is a drive to Angkor Wat, Cambodia in 2023.

Music, Movies, and Books
My taste in music 🎶 is not a fixed one. I like to listen to songs according to the day, my mood and the people I am with. I can go from Ilayaraja Melodies straight to a Hardcore rock song and still vibe for both. When it comes to Movies 🎥 I am open to anything but my favourites would be Real life stories, Gangster movies and also Romcoms are my go to when ever I am lost for choices. Also recently I have started liking these Christmas 🎄 Season Romance and Romcoms that are available on OTTs. Also Books, every time I see a suggestion I buy the book. But haven’t mastered the art of reading a book completely. Still learning in the hopes of achieving it one day. If not it’s ok too 😋
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have always done what feels right to me at that moment. Sometimes it has come out good and sometimes it has come out bad. But I only have learning from it and no regrets.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach : I can teach you some basic cooking, driving and I read a lot about the terms and conditions that are hidden in the fine print of our insurances , banking and other stuff. So I can bore you with some information which can save you a lot of time and money.
Learn : I would love to learn about other people’s life and travel experiences and anything that you can teach me I am more than happy to learn.
Share : I am an over-sharer. So if you are going to sit with me for a conversation I will share a lot of my personal experiences in travel, money, people and also relationships. Again it has it’s pros and cons, but that is who I am.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I have not stayed with any hosts yet. But when I do, I am sure I will be able to share a lot of my experiences, the things I have learned and the paths I have crossed. You will definitely have a friend for life when we wave goodbye and that is all you will need and I can offer for the rest of our journey as friends or travel buddies.
