I'm Dr. Sidharth Sankar and this is a common profile of myself and my wife Elena Vorontsova.
I grew up in Chennai (India) and went to Russia for my higher education where I met the love of my life Elena. After 7 years of relationship (long distance mostly) we finally tied knots on September 2016.
Both of us love travelling, to meet new interesting people, to learn new cultures and cuisine.
We both are fun loving, easy going, caring people.
As a host we can provide you a decent room with bedding, and make you feel as home. We will share with you information of must see in city, do's and dont's etc. If we got time we shall ride you around the city as well. Please read the house rules before sending a request.
As a guest we are neat, tidy couple. We shall cook Indian as well as European&Russian food for you, share our stories of travel, narrate stories of India, Russia

Myself and Elena have travelled a lot especially in the huge and diverse countries - Russia and India. After several experiences we understood that staying with locals through Couchsurfing is the best way to understand the people and culture of the region and to feel the real soul. Therefore we prefer to stay with hosts.
We also host travellers as it an interesting way to learn about places where we havent been before.
