I’m a vagabond adventurer with a lot of travel under my belt, fun stories that I don’t think about until talking with others, and a desire of real talk about life and learning. I’m open minders and understanding.
While I’ve been living in Miami, Florida for the past 10 years, I’ve closed shop for now and am traveling on sabbatical. I wish my old profile and connections weren’t deleted in the upgrade of this app.
I’m originally from Michigan, USA. Have travelled the United States extensively, done lots of camping and National Parks, and been to a lot of music festivals. I have always enjoyed Central America and would travel there frequently. I enjoy nature and the outdoors, playing backgammon, chess, listening to albums, chilling at cafes for conversation, swimming at the beach, hammock time, working out, biking, dancing and cooking.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Just signed up again after being a regular couch surfer 15 years ago. I wish my old profile and connections were still active. I’m traveling Europe and who knows where else and looking for hangouts mostly and couches occasionally.
I’m on sabbatical from supporting afterschool education, arts programs, summer schools and camps in the United States. I’ve also supported international programs through music charity work. I love live music and search for it wherever I travel. It’s a view into the culture, spirit and community that I thrive off of. I also am an outdoors person, formally an outdoor instructor but now a life long hiker of beautiful terrain. Nature calms me and that’s why I live on the beach, although my spirit loves the mountains.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Summited Mt Rainer, Scuba the Galapagos, produced a Wailers Concert in Jamaica, hiked up to the edge of an active volcano, explored Cuba twice, and attended the best concerts and music festivals of all time:)
