ABOUT ME

I'm a Sikh but born and brought up in Chennai, of all the places, my family chose Chennai to migrate to in '65. Fair warning though, I can't perform bhangra(even to save my life), prefer sambar to dal and more often than not my Tamil is more fluent than my Punjabi.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm open to meeting up any one for a coffee, meal and show them around the city. Now open to hosting surfers at my apartment.

I've attended numerous CS meetups. And am final able to open my home to fellow couchsurfers.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: Fiction, Technical stuff when I am not trying to learn something, otherwise they're as good as my school text books as sleeping pills. I can spend hours with an encyclopedia jumping through cross-referenced entries, though its been years since I did that with a printed book. Now I just jump from one webpage to another when I get hooked onto something interesting.

Movies: I enjoy most movies, even the ones that everyone derides as devoid of any sort of substance. I can suffer through pretty much anything once. I remember this one time when I was perhaps one of 5 people remaining in the movie theater at the end of The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford. The other 4 may have been snoring away to glory. :/

Music: Very very subjective. There are no definitive genre or artists that I enjoy listening to.
