About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Meet peoples from everywhere!
ABOUT ME
I'm a french student in the US for a PhD (and maybe more).
I like to meet peoples and share story so, here I am!
I grew up in a charming city in the south west of France. I spend two years in Lyon to for my studies and it was a lot of fun (definitely recommend the place to visit).
My parents made me travel a lot in Europe with them and I think this is where the travel frenzy come from!
I consider myself as an easygoing person who love to discuss with everybody and sharing tips and good stories.
PHILOSOPHY
I think that if peoples know each other, they won't be willing to fight.
âÃâ¬ÃÅNonviolence is a weapon of the strongâÃâ¬Ã Gandhi
âÃâ¬ÃÅBe the change you want to see in the world.âÃâ¬Ã same guy
Finally, if I have to choose between a video game and something else (drink with friend, restaurant...), I will always go for the social one. :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I really enjoy our local community and all the events we did together. I hosted some of them.
I would love to host people but there is not much to see in my area.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My first experience with couch surfing was a cancelled potluck... I didn't see that it has been cancelled and when I showed up, the host said: "ho, it has been cancelled, sorry. But do you want to join us for dinner?" and we had a lot of fun anyway!
Then, I went to other cool local events (parties, bar crawlings...) and met awesome peoples.
Finally, I have been hosted when I traveled to Chicago and Charleston and my hosts were very cool!
Interests
I like science specially chemistry and nanotechnology. But this is professional.
I love to do sports and am always up to try something new (I have practiced kayak for several years, ice skating and martial arts). I also enjoy hiking and backpacking.
I like to learn about religions, culture and history even if I don't believe in God (or maybe I do but not in the way religions tell). I especially like the ancient Egyptian culture.
Beside that, more relaxing stuff, I like to play the piano, reading and playing computer games (who said nerd?).
One of my favorite hobby is still cooking and discover food from the world.
Ho, and traveling of course!
