CURRENT MISSION
Go somewhere. See something.
ABOUT ME
Well, not sure what there is to say more... Read the next paragraphs and I'm sure you'll get the picture.
PHILOSOPHY
It's very complicated, I should say. Maybe I could sum it up with "live and let live".
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've been hosting people for years, from Taizée people to various volunteers, and a lot of my friends are on CS, which has proven to be an amazing experience so far, so I decided to make a profile and offer what I can give to those who wish to come here, see something, learn something and so on :)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far, I've hosted and stayed with 15 people from all over the world, I've met many more and I am happy to say I've never had a bad experience.
Interests
I'm interested in literature, languages, movies, music, cultures and people in general :) Maybe animals. I like animals :)

Music, Movies, and Books
Well, I guess I like all kinds of music, from jazz, rap and r'n'b to The National, Morphine, Interpol, The White Stripes. Oh, and especially two Croatian bands lately - Kiša metaka and Dječaci.
Movies... Well, I guess it would be almost impossible for me to create some kind of 'all-time' list of movies I've seen, so I'll just list the first ones that come to mind: The Matrix, The Fifth Element, The Godfather, Dobermann, El secreto de sus ojos, J'ai tué ma mère. I also enjoy trash movies, from trash horrors like Drag Me to Hell to Tenacious D and the Pick of Destiny.
Books, oh, books... Recently I've immensely enjoyed reading Roberto Bolaño (especially 2666 and Savage Detectives), Yuri Vynnychuk (Tango of Death), Valeria Luiselli (Los papeles falsos, The Story of My Teeth, Los ingrávidos), Laszlo Krasznahorkai (War and War), and Michel Houellebecq (everything he wrote, really). Other than that, I'm a big fan of Cortázar, Dostoevsky, Rilke...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Well, one thing I liked the most was running bare-footed through the rain in Paris, from the Louvre museum to Pont-des-Arts. That was quite nice. Volunteering for a month at an ecological farm near Lisbon was also a great experience.
Teach, Learn, Share
Well, I want to know about everything - naturally curious and stuff like that. So whatever you know, I'll be glad if you'll share it with me. Also, I can maybe teach you how to play a chord or two on a guitar, we can watch movies together, talk about books (I study Comparative Literature and Portuguese), philosophy, history, and so on (okay, by now, I guess it's pretty clear I'm a humanities person).
