Overview
About Me
I grew up in Miami, went to school in North Carolina, and spent seven months working at a hospital in Tel Aviv after I graduated. I've been accepted to medical school at the University of South Florida and I start the next six to eight years of my education this upcoming August, so to celebrate I'm taking the three months before school starts to travel through Eastern Europe, meet new people, and see different ways of life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Hopefully I'll be sleeping on a lot of couches over the next few months!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I found out about couch surfing a few years ago through an Australian coworker at a summer camp where we were counselors together. After our two months ended he stayed with my parents and I in Miami for a few days. I also stayed with an amazing couple when I first came to Israel who were super welcoming.
Interests
Reading, cooking, eating, drawing, being outdoors. I'm trying to get into more creative hobbies; I brought a small sketchbook with me on this trip and I'm aiming to do at least one drawing of some landmark in every city I visit, and I'm going to put together a video at the end of my three months abroad.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: I like mostly comedies, action films, and the occasional documentary.
Books: Too many to list! I read 53 books in 2015 and I gained a lot from it. I'm in a bit of a travelogue phase at the moment; I just finished The Road To Oxiana by Robert Byron and I'm currently in the middle of Three Men in a Boat by Jerome K. Jerome.
Music: Hip hop, jazz, most of the stuff trending on hypemachine
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent ten days kayaking and camping in the Boundary Waters between Minnesota and Canada with my cousin and uncle. Most meals we ate whatever fish we caught while kayaking that day.
