Warsaw is Poland’s capital and largest city, and it’s different from most. Learn about Warsaw’s fighting spirit at the Uprising Museum, where you’ll hear all about how the Polish Home Army attempted to liberate the city from Nazi Germany and Soviet Russia at the same time in 1944. To get out and enjoy some fresh air, make your way to the library of Warsaw University and climb the public stairs up to the roof, where relaxing gardens and amazing views await.
