Sydney is the biggest, most visited city in Australia. It’s situated around the world’s largest natural harbor, and is home to Oceania’s biggest economy and most famous sights. Perhaps the most recognisable structure in the city is the Opera House, whose exterior design is just as impressive as the performances to be enjoyed within. Also located in the harbor is the incredible Sea Life Sydney Aquarium, home to thousands of species of marine life including stingrays, sharks, and giant sea turtles. Don’t miss the stunning walk-through exhibit that puts you in the center of the ocean.

Try to spot some aquatic action yourself on Sydney’s iconic Bondi Beach, with gleaming white sand and crystal clear water dotted with suntanned surfers. For an epic trip outside of the city, make the 90-minute drive to the Blue Mountains, where miles of excellent hiking trails will reward you with interesting wildlife sightings and some unbelievable views of the Australian countryside. Check out Wentworth Falls and the Three Sisters, one of the more recognizable rock formations in the Blue Mountains.
