About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Meet amazing people around the world

ABOUT ME

I'm an adventurous, fun-loving thrill seeker. I love traveling, experiencing new things, and meeting new people.

PHILOSOPHY

"And in the end it's not the years in your life that count. It is the life in your years." ~Abraham Lincoln

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I offered my couch in Ames, Iowa for over a year but, unfortunately nobody really travels around Iowa... I don't blame them. After moving to Oakland, CA I've been way more involved. With the help of some locals, I started CouchCrash SF, San Francisco's biggest annual CS event. I've also hosted lots of travelers and organized many smaller CS events in the Bay Area.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couch surfed with many different hosts and I've had nothing but wonderful experiences. I also love the CS meetups, especially in big cities. This site is an amazing tool that allows you to meet fun, like-minded people and perhaps even learn and share new skills.

Interests

World travelling, yoga, playing guitar, cycling, scuba diving, snowboarding, hiking, kayaking, camping, experiencing new things.
