About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To do what I love and encourage others to do the same.

ABOUT ME

I was born and raised in Jackson, MS and was taught to enjoy all the aspects of life. I strive to experience all that life has to offer. I am an outdoor junkie and believe that the best things in life can be found outside. My favorite activities are biking, hiking, sailing, reading, and cooking. I am obsessed with mountain biking! I also have love for my motorcycle. Really I am easy to describe, I love life and want to enjoy it to the fullest and experience everything I can (that isn't on the wrong side of weird). I also really enjoy meeting new people. I have moved several times to places where I knew no one and I love it. Please do not take me too seriously, because I love to joke around and feel immediately comfortable with most people I meet.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is that I have a short life and I want to see and do as much as I can while I am on this earth. I also believe that laughter is the key to happiness and I love to joke around.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have jumped out of a perfectly good plane by myself, I have entered the spirit world at the temple of the moon in Peru, I have taken a gas mask off in a room full of tear gas, I have taken a helicopter to the top of a mountain to bike down, I was scuba diving when 20+ sharks started swimming around us, I've traveled 70 miles into the amazon to meet the Waorani tribe, I have driven coast to coast on a two month road trip alone, I have run myself over with my own car in reverse while riding a bike on the Interstate (I'll have to explain this one haha), circumnavigated Tortola, B.V.I. captaining my own 50ft. sailboat. Life is amazing!!

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to learn everything, but I'm really on a journey to understand the food culture around the world. I truly love food that is interesting, unusual dishes, but especially if the dish has old world traditions in utilities uncommon cuts of meat as a way to not waste. Some of my favorite recipes are from times when a culture has to utilize everything around them to eat and survive.

I can teach you some good recipes that I have learned. I can also share some of my life's stories with you. I love trading life adventures with people!
