About Me
Spontaneus, optymistic, half Polish and loving people (that's why I'm studying psychology! and because I wanted to learn how to read people's minds, of course :D ). But don't worry, we can have a great time, I promise I won't analyse you!.. all the time
My favourite word is motivism ( motivation + optimism), making great new memories is my favourite job description and I just want to, when I'll be 70 years old, look back at my life and think: DAMN. :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When I was in Den Haag on my trip, I went to the central station. There was a piano, for everyone, so I sat there and started to play. First, there were just to of us, me and piano. Few moments after, I realized that people started to gather around. 15 minutes later, there were about 8 of us, everyone from different countries and almost everyone traveling alone in that moment, singin 'Let it be'. A guy from Philippines started to dance. We stayed there for 2 hours, talking about everything like we know each other for years. But the thing that connected us was - traveling. I want to have more stories like this, that's what makes me feel I'm living my life fully and I think Couchsurfing could be a great start of many of it. :)
Interests
I play piano and guitar ( the second one not so good but enough to have a great night by the beach! ), for me, music is like a time machine; in one second it can take you bak to your last year in the elementary school, just by listening The Offspring :D, and that's why I love going to concerts! One more thing I love is that feeling when you loose yourself in a new city but in the same moment you find yourself, so - traveling and, to sum up, discovering my new interests all the time :D
Music, Movies, and Books
I don't have my 'favourite genre' because there are days when in the morning I'm listening to Spring waltz by Chopin, two hours after The National ( ok, this genre is maybe the closer to my heart :D ), then, while making decisions, goes The Clash with Should I stay of should I go, after that I'm going to Parov Stelar concert and in the end, I will dance salsa while listening to Shakira in the club. :D
About books, from Tess Geritsen to Murakami but I was reading so much more before, now I'm trying to have that 'reading time' again. :)
Movies - psychological thrillers are my favourite ones!
