Hi everyone!

I am a final-year veterinary student living in Zagreb. Moving to capital city was a big deal for me 6 years ago. I can say it changed me completely and helped me to become an independent and open-minded person as I am today.
From the beginning of this year, I am taking every opportunity to travel, explore, just get myself in new surroundings and situations...Result? So many interesting people and new friendships :D
This year I will be at home for a max of 2 months so I can say I am using every opportunity to travel, learn and live a life to the fullest :)
I came back from Belgium last week, I was there on a 6-week traineeship where I met one Brazilian girl. We decided to make a spontaneous trip to Brussels and Amsterdam at the end of our traineeship, best decision in this year :D

*** Ireland is the country on the top of my bucket list because I was born on St Patrick's Day so I have a special place in my heart for it. I got the opportunity to go on the Erasmus+ traineeship for 1,5 months in one Vet Clinic in Galway. :)
My plan is to travel through Ireland during weekends when I will have a free time. During my trips I am hoping to meet other CS and experience the life in 🇮🇪 through the stories an eyes of local people :)
If you will be able to host me on some weekend, show me your town, go hiking (or horseback riding?!) or just to grab a drink with me I would be more than happy 😊

P.S. I am an okay cook (don't wanna brag :P), great with animals, nature lover and love to hang out and going out. I can adapt easily and don't care if it is a small couch in the living room or anything else, as long I have a place to sleep. ***

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think that at the moment when you step out of your comfort zone, you are looking at the world with different eyes. So I would like for my every SC experience to be like that. Being a host or a surfer, I want to learn about different cultures and hear life stories of the people I meet. I think that those things make our life richer :)

I am studying veterinary medicine so I specially like to talk about nature, animals, medicine..spending time on a fresh air (walking, climbing, cycling)..watching movies, reading books..and having a nice time with friends, going out or just hanging out in apartment 😃

Movies and series: The Pursuit of Happiness, 7 Pounds, The Shack, Inception, American Sniper, Deadpool, Game of Thrones, Friends, Shameless...as you can see my problem is that I am not picky about movies and music. I just love everything that moves me, from making me cry to making me laugh and cry hahh
I love reading books, but I can't remember when was the last time I had a book in my hand just for reading and with relax mode on.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed Adam's Peak (Sri Lanka) 💪🏼 Best feeling ever. We started climbing at 1 am and finished by looking at the sunrise from the top!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can give you sight-seeing in Zagreb or Rijeka (depends where I am), give you tips and help you plan a trip through Croatia, maybe go some part of it with you, depends how busy I am..teach you a few Croatian words
I can share my experience (both travelling and professional/veterinary) 🙂

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would be glad if I can (at least try to haha) cook some of the Croatian traditional dishes...and of course helping in the house.
