About Me

Single guy, who's tired of the monotonous IT work cycle. Has realised what he wants now with life, which would be 'Walk the Earth'. Strongly believes in Karma. Loves to serve and save the planet. Agnostic. Lacto-Vegetarian. Easygoing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Looking forward to meet some of the best souls, out there! In need of cultural exchange. Also expecting life lessons to be learnt via this medium.

Interests

I love exploring new places, culture, tradition. Like meeting people. Beach person. The moon, music and a game of football never cease to amuse me. Enjoy reading blogs, travelogues and books (I'm a cross over by the by).

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: retro, indie pop/rock, house/tropical house, rock and roll, rock, big time fan of the 70s/80s bands (Pink Floyd, Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Rolling stones, Queen, Bee Gees, The Doors, Elvis Presley, Billy Joel, Elton John to name few), Hindustan classical, Ilayaraja(Tamil), Malayalam and Bengali Rock, Hans Zimmer, Santhosh Narayan.

Books: I'm more of the cross-over kind. Never stick to a specific genre. Yet to find my favourite author. Currently stuck with 'The Road less travelled' by M.Scott Peck.

Movies: Wide choice of movies. To name a few - Interstellar, Lucy, The Beach, Shawshank Redemption, Scarface, Pulp Fiction, The Notebook, Avatar, Gravity, No country for old men, The inception, The Matrix, The silence of lambs, Forrest Gump, The Prestige, Requiem for a dream, Inglourious basterds, A beautiful mind, The Revenant.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm looking forward to the day, i watch the 'aurora borealis' from Jökulsárlón, Iceland. I would fall down on my knees and burst into tears, is what i feel at this moment. And that should sum up the most amazing thing I've yet to see/do.

Teach, Learn, Share

Love to listen to people's experiences, as each and every one of them has got a story to tell. Shares love and positivity with people, without expecting them in return. 'What we know is a drop, what we don't know is an ocean'. Strongly abides by this saying, as learning is a never ending process.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Hailing from a country that's rich in culture and heritage, i would be more than happy to share what 'India' has to contribute to this planet, in whole.
