My name is Fahim Maharoof and I'm a 23-year-old traveler from India. I have been fortunate enough to have visited 51 different countries and I always make it a point to stay with locals whenever possible. I am passionate about experiencing new cultures and learning from the people who call these places home.

Over the past four years, I have hitchhiked across India, exploring the vibrant culture, rich history, and stunning landscapes of my homeland. Through my travels, I have learned that the world is a beautiful place full of friendly people, diverse cultures, and endless opportunities for adventure.

Backpacking is my preferred mode of travel, as it allows me to immerse myself in the local environment and explore off-the-beaten-path destinations. I believe that travel is not just about visiting tourist attractions but also about building meaningful connections with the people and places we encounter along the way.

For me Couchsurfing is not only a great way to save money on accommodation but also a wonderful opportunity to connect with people from all over the world and learn about their unique perspectives and ways of life.
