Overview
About Me
Hey, I’m Yameen, a 22-year-old solo rider from India 🇮🇳 — currently exploring the world one border at a time!
I just completed my Mangalore to Nepal bike ride and I’m continuing my dream of becoming one of the youngest riders to explore Southeast Asia on two wheels.
I love meeting travelers from different cultures, exchanging stories over chai or coffee, and learning new perspectives. I’m chill, respectful, clean, and easy to talk to — whether it’s deep conversations or just laughing about random travel moments.
I believe every connection on the road has a reason. 🌍
🌟 What I Do
I create travel vlogs and reels under the name Habibi Rider — focused on budget travel, real experiences, and the beauty of solo adventures.
No big camera crew — just me, my bike, and my camera capturing life as it happens.
🏕️ Interests
Long rides & exploring hidden places
Street food & local culture
Camping & minimal living
Music (especially calm acoustic or travel vibes)
Meeting kind, open-minded people
💬 What I Can Share
Fun stories from the road (good and crazy ones 😄)
Cooking simple Indian meals
Travel & budget tips for India or Nepal
A good vibe — I believe in leaving people better than I found them.
🤝 Hosting / Surfing
Right now I’m traveling and camping, so I’m mostly surfing and meeting locals.
Once I’m back home, I’ll definitely start hosting riders and backpackers.
✨ Life Motto
“Every ride has a story. Every stranger can become a friend.”
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m on Couchsurfing because I believe travel is more about people than places.
Hotels and hostels are fine, but you don’t really feel a country until you sit with locals, share a meal, or hear stories straight from the people who live there.
I’m currently on a solo bike journey from India to Nepal, and soon planning to explore Southeast Asia on two wheels — all on a budget.
Couchsurfing helps me connect with kind and genuine people who love culture exchange, stories, and real human connection, not just sightseeing.
It’s not just about saving money — it’s about sharing experiences, learning local life, and maybe making friends who feel like family across the world. 🌏❤️

Music, Movies, and Books
🎵 Music
I love travel and chill-vibe music — something that makes long rides feel cinematic.
Favorites: Coldplay, Prateek Kuhad, Imagine Dragons, Arijit Singh, and sometimes lo-fi beats or Sufi songs when I’m riding through mountains.
🎬 Movies
Big fan of adventure and emotional travel movies — like Into the Wild, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, The Motorcycle Diaries, and The Secret Life of Walter Mitty.
I also enjoy good storytelling — even old Bollywood classics with soul.
📚 Books
I mostly read travel stories, biographies, or anything that motivates me.
Favorites: The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho, On the Road by Jack Kerouac, and sometimes short travel blogs or journals by bikers around the world.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
started a solo motorbike journey from Mangalore, India to Nepal, with almost no sponsors and a tight budget — just pure passion and faith in my dream.
Riding across different states, meeting strangers, and capturing stories for my YouTube channel Habibi Rider has been life-changing.
Every kilometer felt like a step toward freedom — proving that you don’t need to be rich to live your dream, just brave enough to start. ❤️🏍️
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach:
I can share what I’ve learned from life on the road — how to travel on a budget, plan long rides, and stay safe while exploring new places. I also love sharing stories from my solo trips and the mindset that keeps me going.
Learn:
I want to learn about different cultures, local food, and people’s life stories. I believe everyone has something unique to teach — from cooking a local dish to understanding how they see the world.
Share:
I can share my travel experiences, Indian culture, and maybe cook you a simple Indian meal or teach you a few Hindi/Tulu words! Mostly, I want to share good vibes, deep talks, and laughter wherever I go. ✨
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share real travel stories from the road — my solo ride from India to Nepal and the adventures (and struggles) that came with it.
I can also cook simple Indian dishes, share local travel tips, or even help you plan your next trip to India or Southeast Asia.
I love connecting over deep conversations, good food, and chai ☕.
And of course, I’ll bring along my Habibi Rider stickers — a small memory from my journey to leave behind. ❤️🏍️
