The New York City borough of Brooklyn is amazingly diverse and geographically huge, three times the size of the more popular tourist area of Manhattan. But there are things to see in Brooklyn that you simply can’t find anywhere else. Visitors will want to head down to Brooklyn Bridge Park to enjoy the fresh air and snap some incredible photos of the iconic bridge. Check out Brooklyn Botanic Garden for an impressive landscape including a charming Japanese Garden and plenty of trails to walk down.

Brooklyn’s legendary seaside attraction is Coney Island, home to a sunny beach, Nathan’s Famous hot dogs, and a fun-filled amusement park that has entertained families of New Yorkers for generations. If you’re a sports fan seeking a thrill, make your way to the Barclays Center to catch the Brooklyn’s Nets (basketball) or the Islanders (hockey) in action, alongside thousands of pumped-up Brooklyn natives. After that, celebrate victory or drown the sorrow of defeat at one of Brooklyn’s awesome historic pubs, always ready with cold beer and hot food late into the night.
