Referred to as the capital of the South, Atlanta is home to 5.5 million residents in the metro area and has become a booming tourist destination. Visit the Georgia Aquarium, the largest aquarium in the Western Hemisphere, to see massive exhibits featuring several thousand species of marine life. Make your way to the Atlanta Botanical Garden to see the Canopy Walk, a 600-foot-long skywalk that allows visitors to tour this urban forest from about 40 feet in the air.

Many international companies call Atlanta home, including Coca-Cola. At the World of Coca-Cola, visitors can learn all about the history of this famous soda and taste variations from around the world. No trip to Atlanta would be complete without eating at one of the city’s most beloved restaurants: The Varsity. This is an old-fashioned drive-in fast food restaurant featuring classic American favorites like hamburgers, hot dogs, french fries, onion rings, and milkshakes. If you’re looking for health food, go somewhere else; The Varsity is all about flavor.
