Then head to Venice Beach to test the surf and check out the street performers, skateboarders, and artists that spend their days here in the sun.
For a great view of the Los Angeles skyline in a much more relaxed setting, rent a paddleboat at the lake in Echo Park. To get a good look at Southern California’s natural beauty, drive down the Pacific Coast Highway to see miles and miles of rock formations edging up to gorgeous beaches. Bring a blanket and head down to one of these beaches for one of the most beautiful sunsets you’ll ever see.
